Boys and Girls Club Kingston
Boys and Girls Clubs programs foster self-esteem, social engagement, academic success, inclusion, acceptance, respect for self and others, and connection to community—all of which are key elements of bullying prevention. Boys and Girls Clubs proudly participate in Pink Shirt Day because it promotes awareness, understanding and openness about bullying and a shared commitment to a solution.
Almost Home
Almost Home provides a place of comfort and respite for families whose children are receiving medical treatment in Kingston area hospitals. Doctors, nurses, therapists and other staff provide intensive medical care for children in hospital. Parents and siblings who stay at Almost Home are able to provide the emotional support and love which are equally essential.
